Prognosis: Delicious.
Secondly, I’d like to talk about the new series airing on NBC called Heroes. So far, the series has captured quite a few viewers and has attracted the eyes of many into the comic scene. Unfortunately, there’s been a downside to all of this that manifests itself in a game I play called City of Heroes.
Though this new show has brought a lot of new blood, it’s also brought in a lot of idiocy and an assload of ignorance to the current playerbase. A few have proven to be good friends and excellent players, but the majority seem to be in it just to piss other people off and to act as moronic as humanly possible. I’ve seen the trend in many other video games, unfortunately. World of Warcraft, Star Wars Galaxies, et cetera. As soon as there’s hype about the general genera, morons flood the servers.
Fortunately, most of these morons go away after a week or so. Those who don’t seem to find one group and annoy them like a blood sucking mosquito that needs to be killed before they spread some sort of disease.
Oh, and I like Heroes. It’s awesome.
